There were two Best and worst moments at the awards show

The First Golden Globe Awards for Love & Death: The Case For The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (Born & Fall 2004)

WINNER: Niecy Nash-Betts (Dahmer – Monster: There is a story called the Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) was the winner. Murray Abraham (The White Lotus)Michael Imperioli (The White Lotus)Nicholas Braun (Succession)Theo James (The White Lotus)Will Sharpe (The White Lotus)

The winner is Paul Walter Hauser, known as Black Bird. Plaisances (Love & Death),Joseph Lee, Murray Bartlett,Ray Liunia, and Richard Adams all starred in Love & Death. The Jeffrey Dahmer story is about Young Mazino.

The ceremony was delayed from September due to the writers strike, but took place on Monday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. On an evening in which the broadcast competed with coverage of the Iowa caucuses and an N.F.L. playoff game — and just a week after the Golden Globes honored many of the same shows — the Emmys made for pleasant, if rarely necessary, viewing.

The Bear and Last Week Tonight With John Oliver were the most favored shows, taking most of the awards. (“Better Call Saul,” nominated for 53 Emmys over its six seasons, failed to earn even one statue.) There were a couple of surprises on the show.

There was a beautiful speech by Niecy Nash- Betts and a wonderful smolder from Joan Collins. The winner of the show used his speech to petition his wife for another child. Ebon Moss-Bachrach celebrated the best comedy win for “The Bear” by planting a long kiss on his co-star Matty Matheson. The night’s shadow co-host was Anderson’s mother, who died of a heart attack after disrupting the winners’ speeches.
