Sleep Apnea Detection on Apple Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2: A Possible Significance of a Closing Decision
There is a new wide-angle screen on the Apple watch Series 10, which is the biggest display Apple has used in a wristwatch to date. An alert for Sleep Apnea, in which people stop breathing while they sleep, is one of the new features on the new Wearable. The Apple Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will come with built-in speakers which will allow them to play music and Podcasts instead of just being a speakerphone for calls.
This year, the main health feature will be sleep apnea detection which can detect breathing activity that stops and starts again while you sleep. The tracking happens through the watch’s accelerometer. Apple did not add blood pressure tracking to its watches this year as was expected. The decision was likely related to recent legal action that forced Apple to remove blood-oxygen sensing from the new watches earlier this year after a patent dispute was brought by the company Masimo.

Apple has added a few new options for its AirPods. For the first time, Apple has made active noise canceling available in regular AirPods—albeit in a more expensive version than the base model. There are new AirPods 4 that cost $129 without active noise canceling, and a version of AirPods 4 that cost $179 and do have active noise canceling.
Like previous models, Apple’s latest wearables will be available in both titanium and aluminum finishes. Depending on which you choose, you have the option of the following colors: silver, rose gold, jet black, dark gray, and a “natural” light gray shade. You can preorder the 42mm and 46mm sizes from Apple for a total of $400. If you want to add cellular connectivity, you can preorder the 42mm and 46mm models for $499 and $529, respectively.
