The Fall/Winter 2019 Reloaded Fortnite OG Event: The Finale & The Music (Fortnite,no More)
The Chapter 2 event isn’t the last of it’s kind. Epic is bringing back Fortnite OG — a throwback to the game’s original map — as a permanent fixture on December 6th.
The next chapter and season of Fortnite will start on the 1st of December. And Epic has already shared quite a bit about what to expect. The new season of “Hunters” will feature players as role players who are tasked with hunting demons. Here’s the cinematic trailer that gives a feel for the storyline and aesthetic changes:
The event is said to be pretty trippy due to the fact that it will connect dreamscapes from each artist. It’ll also feature a new Juice WRLD track called “Empty Out Your Pockets,” as well as a Snoop song with Sting called “Another Part Of Me.”
Fortnite’s most recent virtual concert was supersized in multiple ways. Unlike previous events, which focused on specific artists like Ariana Grande or Metallica, this one featured a cast of four different artists: Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and the late Juice WRLD. Each of the large lineups wasturned into something resembling a kaiju performer, while also integrating deep cuts of Fortnite lore and giving a tease of what’s next for the game.
The big difference appears to be scale, and it is called remix: the finale. Instead of one artist, the event will feature four: Snoop, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD. The game has featured every one of them at one point or another this season, with locations on the battle Royale map, as well as a gigantic Juice WRLD looming over the island.
Music aside, the event is also notable because it will kick off the game’s next chapter, which starts on December 1st. Here are all the things you need to know.
The concert starts on November 30th at 2PM ET, and it takes place inside of Fortnite itself. As always, Epic suggests logging into the game early to ensure you get a spot; the virtual doors open at 1:20PM ET. The encore performance will be aired on the same day, assuming no technical issues arise. There is no specific time that has been announced.
If you can not catch the event live on your PC or console, there will be plenty of streamers available to watch on both platforms.
The new trailer for Fermion X: Metric Combat, Power-Up, and Bose-Einstein Condensation
The new trailer shows an emphasis on melee combat, a fire-flinging power-up, and some intimidating looking boss characters. It also contains a very brief tease of the upcoming movie.
